Off the Hook Arts opens its SummerFest 2018 concert series with a free performance event of John Luther Adams’s Inuksuit, which has been described by the New York Times as the “ultimate environmental piece.” 45 percussionists, led by Dartmouth University percussionist Amy Garapic, perform this provocative work by incorporating the sounds and atmosphere of their surroundings into this outdoor event. After-concert events include food trucks, children’s games sponsored by Chippers Lane, and face painting with Smiling Faces.
